How have I gone this long without discovering Bruno Mars????
I downloaded his album and listened to it while I was on the treadmill today and I’m serious when I say that at one point I wanted to get off the treadmill and just dance around the 24 Hour Fitness on Horne.
But I didn’t.
Because that would be weird.
But I love the album- the kid is infectious, and I mean that in the best way possible. I do believe I’ll put me some of this on the speakers later and dance around the house like a fool.
Because it’s not weird when you dance like a fool alone in your house. Well, it is, but no one can see you.
For those of you who have been following my on and off since I bought my house then you know that I’ve been itching for a new fence pretty much since day one. Well- I should get a big enough tax return this year to pay for one!!! I can’t tell you how excited I am for this. I’ll be able to let my dog out in the yard ON HER OWN for more than fifteen seconds and I won’t have to check on her location every five seconds. Plus, I could walk around naked outside if I really wanted to.
Which I don’t. Because that would be weird.
I am perfectly content to spend every last cent of my tax return on the fence, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say it would be awesome if I still had some left over for fun because I’ve got a lot of stuff to pay for!! NTI is coming up and thats going to be an absurd amount of money right there, plus certification. $$$$$!
I am getting more and more excited about NTI. I’m excited to learn new things and expand my practice and become a better nurse and see what other nurses are doing for their patients. I want to learn more and do more. Plus, see my friend Raychel 🙂 from high school. I downloaded the class list the other day and have been pouring over it trying to decide what classes I want to go to and what Sunrise Sessions I want to attend. I’m definitely going to one of the sessions on daily sedation wake ups to see what the standards are elsewhere versus what we do at JPS and what we can and should do differently. There are also some classes on high frequency ventilation and donor management that I’d like to go to as well as mobility in the ICU. Yay for professional development!
